It happened. Somewhere between November 2020 and April 2021, I lost all passion for photography and this site. This is a shame because viewing the analytics my little corner of the web simply for me to ramble to myself actually gets noticeable traffic (shout out to Canada since you read my Magnicon review a lot!). My socials have noticed the hit as well, while far from influincer or even popular the interaction and support is a bonus and has been missed. Minus 3 racing events in that time, most of the camera time during this period has felt forced and as a result, very little shareable has come from it.

Earlier this week I finally started editing the backlog from the 3 aforementioned races and suddenly the spark reignited. “Wait…some of these are good. Very good in fact!” That was 3 days ago and the passion and creativity are back! The self-doubt that often sneaks in during downtimes like these giving way to “I need to get this printed!”

So count this as a remotivated welcome back. Consistent posts start again tomorrow.
